Hospital Readmission Reduction

Our  Readmission Prevention program safeguards client health and helps ensure hospital compliance with the Affordable Care Act.

Hospitalizations account for nearly one-third of the total $2 trillion spent on healthcare in the United States, and a substantial fraction of these are avoidable client readmissions. The Affordable Care Act contains a provision that penalizes hospitals if clients are readmitted within 30 days of discharge. LifeStyle Options can assist you with minimizing these hospital readmissions.

We specialize in providing reliable short term medical personnel to meet the temporary staffing needs of retirement and health care communities. Our clients include nursing homes, senior housing, assisted living, physician offices, clinics and other health facilities. Our goal is not only to assist you with your immediate needs but to help plan for your future needs as well.

Hospital Sitter, Escorts, Shopping Services, etc.

Everyone’s life is different.  Some people have children, some have none.  Some are pet lovers, others – not so much.  All individual needs are different.  Over the years, we’ve been asked to perform a wide variety of assistance.  We’ve gone to weddings, we often visit the doctor’s office, we sit with a hospitalized client, we grocery shop, we’ve even gone on plane trips with our clients.  If you find you need help with something that’s not generally listed as a routine service – just ask us.  Odds are, we’ve been asked before and are more than happy to help!

Dementia & Alzheimer's Services

There are an estimated 4.5 million people in the US who have Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. More than half of these patients continue to live at home, relying on family and friends for care. In fact, most Alzheimer's patients-particularly those in the early and middle stages of the illness-can be cared for at home instead of at nursing homes or other facilities.
